The only long book series I've ever read is 'Harry Potter'. When I was younger, I read some of 'The Black Stallion' books, but not all. I've also read some of Brian Jacques 'Redwall' series. Recently, I've been getting back into series - I've read all of The Hunger Games and Slated trilogies and have just finished part two of the Silver Blackthorn and Half bad trilogies (part 3 for both will be out later this year). But there also many books that I've read which are the first in a series, but I haven't wanted to read the rest: Skulduggery Pleasant, The Spook's Apprentice, The Ranger's Apprentice, The Maze Runner...
What do you think of series? Do you love them or prefer stand-alone books? Are there any books that you've read that you wish had a sequel or a series to follow them? Do you have a favourite book series?
